What makes an AI automation proposal different?

Clients hiring for automation usually know the outcome they want and not the mechanism. A proposal that wins translates their description of the problem into the workflow it actually implies, and says which part is the risky one — which is the thing that separates someone who has shipped from someone who has watched a tutorial.

This category is full of applicants who have connected two nodes and called it a workflow. The clients know it, so they read defensively. Naming the failure mode before they ask is worth more than any list of tools.

How an automation proposal gets written here

  1. 1

    Import your history once

Upload a CV. The workflows you have built and the systems you have integrated become a profile.

  2. 2

    Paste the job post

You get an opening that restates what they are asking for as the workflow it implies.

  3. 3

    Add the risk

Edit in the part you know will be hard. That is the sentence that gets the reply.

A worked example

You want inbound enquiries triaged and routed into the CRM with a summary attached. The part that usually breaks is not the routing — it is what happens to the ones the classifier is unsure about, because silently misfiling those is worse than not automating at all. I built the same flow for [client type] in [year]: classification with a confidence threshold, anything below it dropped into a human review queue rather than guessed, and a weekly report on what landed there so the prompt could be tightened against real cases. Roughly what volume a week, and do you already have a CRM you are committed to? Those two answers decide the whole shape of it.

Written as an illustration. Yours is generated from workflows you have actually built.

Say what breaks before they ask

Every automation brief has a failure mode the client has not thought about: the edge case, the rate limit, the thing that happens when the model is unsure.

Naming it in the proposal does two things at once. It proves you have run this in production rather than in a demo, and it reframes the conversation from price to competence before anyone has mentioned a number.

This is the single most effective move in the category, and it is also the one a generic template cannot make — because it depends on which workflows you have actually shipped.

What it will not do

It will not claim a platform you have not used. If the job wants a specific tool and your history is elsewhere, the draft says what you have actually built rather than implying coverage you do not have.

It also will not build the automation. It writes the pitch, from your own history, and you edit it before it goes anywhere.

Questions about AI automation proposals

Is this only for no-code automation?
No. It writes from whatever is on your profile, whether that is visual workflow tools, custom integrations, or both.
Will it exaggerate what I have built?
No. It writes from the projects you entered, and it says what you have actually done when the job asks for something adjacent.
Can I keep a build persona and a consulting persona?
Yes. Each reorders the same history for a different buyer and a different rate.
Does it score the job first?
Yes, and free with no signup. The job scorer reads the client history and tells you whether the connects are worth spending.
